How Birdwise attributes observation data and media.

Birdwise combines observation data supplied by eBird and Birdreport. Taxonomy and localized common names follow eBird where available.

Images, audio, and other media are displayed with their source attribution when provided. They may be hosted by their original providers and are not a claim of ownership by Birdwise.

Coordinates and dates can be sensitive for wildlife and people. Pages are designed for observation discovery, not for publishing precise information about protected nesting sites.
